Residential Inspections
We will perform a walkthrough and inspection of the home you’re interested in buying, and assess the condition using the Tennessee Home Inspector Standards of Practice. Our residential home inspections include a comprehensive report noting all issues, as well as support and guidance from your home inspector.
Pre-listing Inspections
A pre-listing inspection can not only help expedite the selling process, but potentially even increase the property's sale price. Additionally, they can help reduce the chances of a sale falling through due to unexpected issues with the property being discovered during the negotiation or buyer's inspection.
Termite Inspections
Termite inspections are crucial to protect homes and avoid termite infestations. Inspectors will search for damage or activity by thoroughly checking all accessible areas. They will look for signs such as termite tubes, wood damage, and if those are present then they will recommend treatment options in their report.
RADON TESTING
Radon, a colorless and odorless gas, can pose serious health risks when present in high levels. Expert inspectors utilize state-of-the-art equipment to accurately assess radon levels in your home, providing you with peace of mind and the knowledge needed to take proactive steps towards a healthier living environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Buying or selling a home can be a stressful experience, but we’re here to ensure you know what to expect during your home inspection.
A home inspection includes checking for any structural issues such as foundation cracks, roof leaks, plumbing issues, electrical wiring, heating/cooling systems, insulation, windows, doors, chimneys, etc. Depending on the size of the property, a home inspection should take between 2-4 hours.
A home doesn’t pass or fail an inspection. Instead, a home inspection is a thorough audit of your home’s components. In most cases, there will be concerns marked on your home inspection report, but these are strictly informative.
It’s okay to not have a home inspection in some situations, but it’s risky because you might end up purchasing a place with significant problems that require repairs. A home inspection is a short-term investment with long-term gains!
While a home inspector may recommend some repairs, they are not qualified to make them. They can provide information about what needs to be repaired so that you’re making an educated choice with your home purchase, but the decision to actually do the work lies solely with the homeowner. Not only does this give you the freedom to choose your contractors, but it also helps prevent a conflict of interest.
Ensure all inspection points are free from clutter, including any closets that might lead to a crawlspace or attic, and clearing some space around your home’s perimeter. It’s also important to check the functionality of all built-in appliances, electric, and gas. If you don’t plan to attend the inspection, make sure your inspector has access to the home, and all pets are properly contained or moved.
